Sezgin Inceel is a singer-songwriter, lecturer and music educator, who lives in Munich and Istanbul. His music is a gentle combination of acoustic and electronic elements. He has a PhD in music education and specialised in the connection between music and multilingual language acquisition in his dissertation. Inceel is also the co-host of Yine Yeni Yeniden 90’lar, a podcast that analyses Turkish pop music of the 90s from a queer feminist perspective and was awarded the prize for the “strongest music podcast” by the renowned Turkish radio station Power FM last year. He teaches Community Music at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and continues to research inter/transcultural music education and the relationship between gender and music.
