Sezgin is singer-songwriter, academic and teaching artist based in Munich, Germany. He holds a PhD in Music Education from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. He studied Music Education and Singing in Turkey, Hungary and Germany. During his studies he had the chance to improve his skills in singing, piano, classical guitar, flute and music theory. He sang with the musical company ‘Ladies and Gentlemen Istanbul‘ from Turkey, as a part of which he performed with various artists, such as Sezen Aksu, Sertab Erener, Ferhat Göçer and Alessandro Safina. He was involved in international projects in different countries, such as in Hungary, Spain, Denmark, France, Estonia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Latvia. In 2010 he won a scholarship to be a music teacher in Munich, which soon after became his home. He continues his career by being involved in different music projects as a singer, researching/writing about music-language relationship and transcultural music education as well as teaching music. His debut album will be released soon.
